Experiment
II
Overview
Experiment II explores two polar states of aluminum, from the red clay rich in ore to the widely available metal alloy. The pieces are constructed in two ways: they are either built from off-the-shelf profiles and extrusions, epitomizing the highly standardized process of contemporary metals manufacturing, or hand formed and scraped, embodying the very raw and rudimentary nature of the earthenware.
